Our Leadership & Team
Caregiver Academia is guided by visionary leadership and an experienced academic team devoted to nurturing highly skilled caregivers who serve with compassion and pride:
Mr. Hira Lama, Chairman, brings over 15 years of management and international recruitment experience, specializing in service industry placements across Europe and the Middle East. His leadership aims to empower Nepali youth through world-class caregiver education and global job placement.
Mrs. Mishal Shrestha, Managing Director (M.D.), is a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in hospitals, aged care, and caregiver training institutions. She oversees overall management, ensuring world-class operational and training standards.
Mrs. Rina Shrastri, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Registered Nurse, has more than 10 years of hospital management and caregiver education experience. She focuses on institutional growth, quality assurance, and international collaborations.
Mrs. Kamala Bhandari, Head of the Israel Department, brings over 10 years of caregiving experience in Israel. She specializes in the Auxiliary Caretaker Project under the G2G (Government-to-Government) model between Nepal and Israel, leading comprehensive caregiver training programs.
Mr. Rabindra Shrestha, Head of Japan Department, has over 5 years of professional experience in Japan and leads the SSW1 Visa Nursing Care (Kaigo) Program. He also serves as a Japanese Language Trainer, teaching N5, N4, and N3 levels to prepare students for successful caregiving careers in Japan.
Training Team (R.N.): Mrs. Laxmi Gurung, Miss Puja Shrestha, Miss Resu Dhimal, and Miss Kusum Karki — all Registered Nurses (R.N.) of Nepal — bring 5–10 years of hospital and aged-care experience, mentoring students in both technical and compassionate caregiving class.
Miss Shruti Khatiwada, Customer Service Representative, is a PCL graduate with over 5 years of experience in B & B Hospital and other leading healthcare institutions. She ensures smooth student support, client coordination, and administrative excellence.
